British Heart Foundations Hearts First London to Paris Bike Ride

TBL raise £2000 on British Heart Foundation’s Hearts First London 2 Paris Bike Ride…

Team TBL -  Ian Rosindell, Graeme Purdell, Pete Rosindell, and John Rummery – left the Royal Observatory Greenwich on September 9th and crossed the finish line 3 days later at the Royal Palace of Versailles.  Thankfully overnight stops were included at Calais and Amiens

‘Volvo Car UK’ kindly lent us a brand new car (unfortunately they forgot to include diesel) which was driven for us by Richard Hull.  At the post-ride dinner overlooking the Palace, Richard won ‘Best Support’, largely for driving like a ‘nutter’ ahead of the team to make hot drinks… even if it was 26 degrees!

The weather was fantastic and all were suitably sunburnt by Day Two, with the team completing the sub-300 miles in 3 days.
