Masonry Beaming

Load bearing beams can be created by installing two chords of twin helical bar to distribute structural loads, providing structurally sound, cost effective alternative solutions to underpinning, defective lintel repairs and helping to solve lateral restraint problems. The Helibeaming system, using stress free helical bed-joint reinforcement, creates deep masonry beams which distribute structural loads, providing a versatile means of restoring structural integrity to buildings and structures where the masonry has cracked or failed and lost its load bearing capacities as a result of ground movement, weathering and increased loads and stresses. The rapid installation procedure minimises disruption and provides economical solutions to many structural problems. Helibeaming can also be used in conjunction with traditional underpinning or helical piling techniques to provide a more economical, less disruptive solution to subsidence/foundation problems. Suitable for use on historic and listed structures (English Heritage approved) and all Thor approved schemes are available with a 10 year insurance.

TBL are Helifix, Helibeam and Thor Helical Approved Installers.
