Drain Cleaning and Root Cutting
High pressure jetting is an effective way to remove grease and silt deposits from within drains, clearing drain blockages and improving flows. Acid based descalers breakdown fats, greases and residues attached to the drain. Electro-mechanical drain cleaning machines drive a rotating spring cable to break up blockages and solid deposits in the drain which can then be high pressured jetted clear. TBL can also arrange a schedule of regular service visits where the entire drainage system or specific sections are thoroughly cleaned. The aim of this being to reduce the cost of emergency call outs.
Similarly, root intrusions can be removed remotely using water jets and toothed hydraulic root cutters without damaging the pipe and eliminating expensive excavation. Concrete intrusions and mortar sediment can also be systematically cut out using hydraulically powered tungsten-carbide rotating heads to prevent costly excavation of concrete filled drains. TBL uses remote controlled variable pressure jetting systems that prevents damage to old fragile pipework, and can be controlled form the point of drain entry and not the jetter located in the van.
