Overview
Due to continued expansion, Central Mangement's Headquarters have been considerably extended and refurbished at their Kinoulton countryside location.
Problem
In addition to major refurbishment, the offices have also been extended to the rear, with new toilet facilities draining to well below the public sewer inverts to the front offices.
Having carried out site investigation, drainage repairs and new installations along with both reactive and planned maintenance drainage works for Central Management for the past 10 years, TBL were the natural choice.
TBL Solution
With poor soakaway properties to the surrounding ground, TBL's solution was to design, specify, install and then to maintain a packaged sewage pump station outfalling to an existing gravity sewer within Main Street. The sytem installed is dual-pump for long-term reliabilty, with the chamber allowing 24 hour effluent storage in event the of power failure, along with any potential future building use. TBL supply, install, and maintain a range of sewage treatment systems from Kingspan (Klargester), Rhino and others, ranging from packaged pump chambers, septic tanks, Biodisc and Biotec's, through to drainage fields and reed beds.
